Day 1Arrival at Muscat airport; Transfer to hotel - City Tour

Arrive at Muscat International Airport. Transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Muscat. This short drive to your hotel would provide you with the first impressions of a clean and green capital. Arrive and check in at the hotel (Check-in time is 14.00 Hrs).

Afternoon Post Lunch, Proceed for Half-day City tour. You will begin the tour with a visit to the Grand Mosque, an architectural marvel and perhaps the city's most iconic landmark. Post this visit to various places like Al Alam Palace, Royal Opera House, Muttarah Souq, Bait Al Zubair Museum, Forts of Mirali, and Corniche. Return to Muscat Hotel.


Day 2Muscat – Birkat Al Mouz – Jebel Akhdar

After B/F, at the hotel. Leave at 08:30 Hrs. Visit Birkat Al Mouz, a picturesque village in the foothills of the Green Mountains, where you can enjoy a stroll through the alleyways of its old residential quarter with its mud and gypsum houses. The terraces and small villages are clearly seen, and the view from this point is beautiful. View the Falaj system (irrigation), which has been listed by UNESCO. Overnight stay at Jebel Akhdar.

Day 03Muscat – AL Hamra - Misfat – Jebel Akhdar

After B/F, visit to Al Hamra, well known for its old mud houses. Visit the Bait Al Safah Museum, a living history museum where locals demonstrate old Omani traditions in a restored mud brick house. Later proceed to Misfat Al Abriyyin, a picturesque village strapped on to the side of a mountain. Next proceed to Jebel Shams – Oman’s highest peak at a staggering 3000 metres. Feel the cooler climate change on top of the Canyon. Spend some time at the Canyon. Thereafter, return to the hotel.

Day 04Jebel Akhdar – Nizwa – Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands

After B/F, at the hotel. Leave at 08:30 Hrs and explore Nizwa, which was the ancient capital of Oman. After visiting the fort and souq, leave for Wadi Bani Khalid. Reach the magnificent Wadi, surrounded by palm trees. You can reach the camp and after check-in formalities. Overnight stay at the desert camp.

Day 05Wahiba Sands – Sur – Ras Al Hadd

After B/F, you can check out from the camp at around 0930Hrs and head to the old East African port of Sur. Visit the famous dhow yards where dhows were made by hand, and you still might get a glimpse of the skilled craftsmanship of dhow builders building dhows. Thereafter, you can head towards Ras Al Hadd and enjoy a scramble among the rocks at the headland. Waves crash against the rocks and leave a myriad of sea life as they recede. Reach Turtle Beach Resort and complete the check-in formalities. The rest of the afternoon at leisure. At around 1930 hours, leave for the famous turtle beach to watch turtles and their nesting habits. Return to your resort for an overnight stay.

Day 06Ras Al Hadd – Wadi Shab – Bimah Sinkhole – Muscat

After B/F, leave at 09:00 Hrs for your journey to Muscat through the coastal road. The drive takes you through a cross-section of Oman’s geography through arid lands, wadis, and coastal villages. So, embark on a long, thrilling drive back to Muscat. With stunning views of the waters of the Arabian Sea on one side and the rocky cliffs on the other, this is an exciting drive along the coast road.

Continue to Wadi Shab. Wadi Shab is one of Oman’s most scenic wadis. It is a canyon-type valley with flowing water throughout the year.

Stop at the Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue-green water at the bottom. Arrive at Muscat Hotel.

Day 07Muscat – Dimaniyat Island – Muscat

After B/F, take your snorkelling day trip, and you will visit one or more of the nine neighboring Dimaniyat islands. Incredible, several kinds of coral reefs, a large number of sea turtles, a white sand beach, and pristine blue water are some of the jewels of Oman.

Sometimes we are lucky to spot some dolphins on the way (not guaranteed). Can also enjoy the scenic beauty of Muscat. breathtaking coastline views. Return to Muscat.

Day 08Departure

After B/F, Transfer to Muscat Airport for your departure flight.
