Day 01Welcome to Almaty, Kazakhstan
Arrival at Airport. After clearing customs & immigration procedures, followed by baggage collection, you will be met by your English-speaking driver in the arrivals hall. You will be escorted to your vehicle. Welcome to your hotel & check in to your room, and relax. Overnight in Almaty Hotel.
Day 02Medeo & Shymbulak Tour + Walking Tour of Arbat Street
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Medeo and
Shymbulak Mountain Trip – arrive at Medeo for a walk around, then go to
Shymbulak by Cable Car with Spectacular views and mountains and nature. Later visit Arbat Street - Almaty’s main shopping
street, which is best explored on foot. While walking down, one can see the
Diversity of shopping in the area. While the street boasts of high-end branded
shops like Mango and Zara, you can also find small and quaint shops. Overnight
at Almaty Hotel.
Day 03Almaty City Tour + Green Bazaar + Rakhat Chocolate Factory + Mega Mall & Koktobe Tour
After breakfast at the Hotel, proceed to the Green
Bazaar, a vibrant market where locals shop for fresh produce, traditional
Kazakh crafts, and souvenirs. Afterwards, visit Rahat Chocolate Factory, where
they present a delightful assortment of chocolates and sweets, each uniquely
crafted to please diverse palates. Proceed to the Almaty city tour. During this
introductory tour, you will visit the First President Park, the Republic
Square, the State Opera and Ballet Theatre, museums at the Academy of Sciences,
Abay Square, the Kazakhstan Hotel, Palace of the Republic, Panfilov Park &
Zenkov Cathedral. Later visit to Koke Tobe Hill - Kok Tobe is the
highest point in the city of Almaty, Overnight at Almaty Hotel.
Day 04Almaty – Issyk Lake
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for the Issyk Lake Tour. Issyk (or Isik-
another name for the lake, translated as “a door” from Kazakh) is a
picturesque, alpine lake surrounded by unusually beautiful nature of thick
forests and spacious flower fields. The lake is located at an altitude of 1760
meters above sea level, in the Issyk gorge of Trans-Ili Alatau, about 70 km
east of Almaty. Enjoy the pristine natural beauty of pine forests, glaciers,
lofty peaks and bliss beyond worlds. Transfer back to city. Overnight stay at
hotel.
Day 05Almaty – Cheryn Canyon + Kolsai Lake - Almaty
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for a full day tour to Cheryn Canyon & Kolsai Lake. Described as the “Grand Canyon of Central Asia”, Charyn Canyon has a reputation of being just as impressive. Located around 200 km east of Almaty and very close to the border with China, the scale of the rift is huge and impossible to cover in its entirety. The canyon itself is made up of numerous smaller canyons, each affording stunning views of diverse rock formations. The most iconic and frequently visited canyon by far is the Valley of Castles.
Later proceed to visit Kolsai Lake The “Pearl of the Tien Shan”, Kolsai Lakes, are located 300 km from Almaty, in the spurs of the Kungei-Alatau ridge. It is also called Kazakh Switzerland. These are three most beautiful mountain lakes surrounded by steep mountain slopes. The lakes are located at different heights and form a kind of cascade. The lower Kolsai Lake is located at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level, the middle one is at an altitude of 2250 meters and the highest one is at an altitude of 2800 meters above sea level. Transfer back to city. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06Huns Ethno Village Tour
After breakfast, proceed to Ethno Village, which is a cultural heritage
site that offers visitors a chance to experience the traditional nomadic
lifestyle of Kazakhstan in an immersive and interactive way. It showcases
authentic Kazakh yurts, traditional clothing, horse shows, folk music and
dance, local cuisine, and handicraft demonstrations like felt-making or
archery. These villages preserve centuries-old customs, giving you a hands-on
feel of how Kazakh people lived, cooked, celebrated, and survived on the vast
steppe. The speciality of an ethno village lies in the fact that it’s not just
for watching—it’s for participating. You can try on traditional costumes, cook
baursak (fried bread), ride horses, shoot arrows, and share tea with locals in
a real yurt. It's a perfect mix of culture, tradition, food, and nature, all in
one place. Overnight at Almaty Hotel.
Day 07Departure Transfers
Check-out from the hotel. Our driver will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight home or to an onward destination.
