Day 01Arrive Cairo - Light & Sound Show

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. This evening, enjoy Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids. This spectacular show uses innovative techniques to narrate the history of ancient Egypt with magnificent sound and light effects against the Pyramids as a backdrop. Over Night stay at Cairo.

Day 02Cairo - Alexandria - Cairo

After B/F, excursion trip to Alexandria – the city founded by Alexander the Great. With an atmosphere more Mediterranean than Middle Eastern, this city has many unique attractions like Fort of Qaitbay Fortress, Catacomb, Library & Pompeii’s of Pillar, Montazah Gardens & view of King Farouk’s Palace. Return back to Cairo. Over Night stay at Cairo.

Day 03Cairo - Great Pyramid & City Tour - Train Journey to Awan

After early B/F, start exploring ancient Egypt with a visit to the famous Pyramids. The Great Pyramid of Cheops which was built by manual labor is the largest of the three main Pyramids and is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the Ancient World. The Pyramid of Chephren, which is the best preserved, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus. Nearby see the Sphinx, a marvelous sight carved out of a natural rocky outcrop, the lion's body stretching 45 m; with its paws 15 m. long.

Post Lunch explore the city tour of Cairo, visit the Egyptian Museum, the Papyrus Institute. See the processes and efforts it took to make this ancient form of paper. Also, enjoy the beautiful illustrative Egyptian art and stories painted depicting Egyptian lifestyle and culture.

Later, Board the train departing for Aswan. Over Night train journey.


Day 04Aswan - Cruise

After your B/F In the train. Arrive Aswan & visit to High Dam, Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk. Embark the Nile Cruise. Post Lunch, visit to Agha Khan Mausoleum & Felucca ride around Elephantine Island. Over Night Cruising.

Day 05Nile Cruise

After B/F, excursion trip to Abu Simbel Temple – flanked by the almost as impressive temple of Nefertari the entire site is truly awe-inspiring. Post Lunch, sailing to Kom Ombo to explore its double Temple dedicated to the gods Sobek – the crocodile God who was worshipped in pre-dynastic times. Witness the ancient remains of a temple of somewhat unusual style in fact, it is a double temple. The right hand temple is the one consecrated to Sobek and the second one is dedicated to Horus – the falcon headed Sky God. This temple was built overlooking the Nile. Later sail to Edfu. Upon arrival, take a horse carriage ride to visit the Horus Temple. The best preserved temple in the whole of Egypt, it has many inscriptions in the Coptic Language and is adorned with paintings from the era. Over Night Cruising.

Day 06Nile Cruise - Luxor - Cairo

Cross the Esna Lock on the Nile to reach Luxor. After B/F, check-out disembarks from Cruise. Visit to West Bank of Luxor including King’s Valley, Deir El Madina, Madinet Habou and the Colossi of Memnon, Colonnaded Temple dedicated to a Queen Hatshepsut, Alabaster Factory, Karnak Temple & Luxor Temple on the east bank of Nile. Later, transfer to Railway station to board a train departing for Cairo. Over Night train Journey.

Optional: Hot Air Balloon Ride over the West Bank of Luxor viewing the Ramesseum Temple, Medinet Habu Temple, Desert, Farmland and in the distance, the mighty river Nile.

Day 07Cairo

Reach Cairo and Transfer to the hotel and check in. After fresh n change proceed to visit the city’s Islamic areas – including the Citadel of Saladdin and its Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, Coptic Cairo, El Muallaqa, the Hanging Church, St. Sergius, Egyptian Museum & Perfume Factory. Evening is free for shopping at Khan El khalli bazar. Dinner & Over Night stay at Cairo.

Day 08Cairo - Onward Destination Journey

After B/F, check-out and transfer to Cairo International Airport to board flight departing for onward destination journey.
